Exhibited at Gallery 456 in 2004. Experiments in analog computation. Pleating patterns are inscribed on tyvek and creased to generate complex pleating patterns. Drape and pucker are regulated through density of pleating. The introduction of knotted nylon monofilament allows the surface to be responsive and interactive, changing its pattern and pucker and creating regions that are flat enough to mount artwork. Ongoing.
